NEED-MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

2024 PNSF ABIANS ACCOUNTANCY UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

The PNSF Abians undergraduate scholarship programme sponsors selected Abia State origin students initerested or studying Accountancy in various federal tertiary institutions across the nation through their tertiary education, in line with the Foundation’s commitment to improving communities by enabling access to education. The PNSF scholarship is dedicated to supporting the development of education in the body of Christ as part of PNSF’s mission to support the next generation in the body of Christ. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students of Abia state origin in body of Christ, who exhibit academic brilliance and are in need of financial aid to continue their education as they pursue their higher education, ensuring they have the means to excel academically while also being a witness for Christ and becoming Kingdom Giants.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria

  • Must be a Nigerian graduate in Nigeria.
  • Must be a student of Abia State origin.
  • Be a member of the body of Christ, a lover of Christ, Kingdom minded and participate regulary in the activities of the
    church.
  •  Must possess a minimum of 5 credits in O’level (including Mathematics and English)
  •  Must be enrolled as a full-time Accountancy undergraduate student at an accredited federal university in Nigeria.
  •  Applicants must be in 100/200L by the application deadline.
  • Applicants must be between ages 16 and 22 by the application deadline.
  • Must possess a minimum score of 245 in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  •  Must maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.8 of 5.0 – for applicants already through with at least one semester.
  • Be truly financially disadvantaged or an orphan.
  • Must already have an admission letter or a provisional letter of admission to a federal university in Nigeria as at the application deadline.
  • Not be a receipient of any other scholarship.

Documents to be submitted along with the application form

Ensure that your application form is completed with the following supporting documents attached:

  • Letter of recommendation endorsed, dated and signed by your Pastor.
  •  Scanned PDF copies of the following:
    a) O’Level Certificate

     b) UTME/JAMB Score Slip

     c) University Admission Letter

An essay of more than 350 words stating in three headings :
  a) Why you need the scholarship

  b) How you are currently contributing to establishing God’s Kingdom.

  c) How you intend to contribute to establishing God’s Kingdom during and after the scholarship scheme.

  • Birth Certificate
  • Recent passport photo
  • Valid means of identification
  • Abia state local government certificate

Added Advantage

  • Successful applicants with CGPA of 4.5 and above on graduation qualifies automatically for ICAN enrolment.

Please Note:

**Any form of falsification and forgery of signature will lead to automatic disqualification and immediate withdrawal from the Foundation’s scholarship scheme.**

**Students enrolled in part-time and sandwich courses are ineligible for this scholarship scheme**

Applications are due no later than 11:59pm WAT on the application deadline date.
